Sunday Times Aug.
6th "This Speyside hotel in the sleepy village of Archiestown, about an hour from Inverness, dates back to the 18th century.
But within these ivy-blanketed walls is a contemporary restaurant worthy of the chicest city hotel. The menu changes seasonally,
and most of the ingredients are sourced locally, including fish, game and vegetables. The fillet of Angus beef, glazed with
stilton, wild mushroom and port sauce, alone is worth the trip, while the confit of duck is handsomely paired with garlic
and black-pudding mash and port jus."
